South Carolina Vacation.?

I’m going to Hilton Head, South Carolina in like 10 days.
I’ve never been there before. I’m going shopping
on Thursday for new clothes and things I need.
I know what to take on the plane, because i’ve been
on planes plenty of times. I just haven’t taken one to
SC. lol. Well what kind of things do I need to pack?
What kind of clothes, and things for the beach, etc.

btw: i’m 13 years old (:

I’d like to mount a campaign to encourage people not to go anywhere. Travel has become so expensive and unpleasant that it’s hard to understand why people don’t stay home.
Why are we crowding our highways and airports to get someplace else? Newspapers and magazines are filled with ads trying to get us to travel. They want us to go somewhere – anywhere but home.

How much would a Visa to South Carolina cost from the United Kingdom?

I’m planning on heading over to South Carolina, USA, next year, and I’m trying to get prepared with the costs of everything so I can be ready for it.
Problem is, I can’t find how much a 90 Day or Less Visa will cost me. I’ve read on one site that it’s $14, and on others that it’s as much as $300. So I’m pretty stuck here — Someone help please?

If it helps, I’ll be going over for approx. 2 months.

Thank you in advance!

What do you want a visa for at all? Assuming, of course, that you’re going for tourism purposes and will not be working or attending an educational institution, if you’re travelling on a British passport, have a return air ticket home, and you have never been arrested, then you will be travelling under the visa-waiver scheme and will only have to pay $14 for the ESTA electronic travel authority. If you’re not eligible to travel under the visa-waiver scheme then you will need a B-2 tourist visa which costs $140 and you have to be interviewed at the US Embassy in London.

What are the most affordable places to live in South Carolina?

I’m in need to move to South Carolina in a rush, and I would like to know what cities and towns are the safest and most affordable. I’m looking for average apartment rates.

I am originally from SC. I live in VA now, but I’ve lived in SC most of my life. I grew up in Lancaster, SC. It is a small town, but it is close to Charlotte, NC so it would be a great place to find a job. It is pretty inexpensive and I think you could rent a house for the same as renting an apartment. Rock Hill, SC is another good place. It is a little bigger. If you are worried about safety and cost I would stay clear of Charleston. It is beautiful, but expensive and has more crime than most places in SC.

I am looking to move to South Carolina and would like to find a cute beach town that is not too touristy.?

I would like a cute downtown area with shops and bars as well. thoughts?

‘A cute downtown with shops’ and "not touristy’ sounds like an economic failure.

Perhaps Folly beach, Litchfield Beach or Little River?

I attached a link that has descriptions of all the different beaches.

Good luck!

When does it start to get warm in upstate South Carolina?

When does the weather in upstate south carolina start to be in the 70′s?

I currently live in Upstate South Carolina near Clemson and it reached 71 degrees here yesterday, so it’s pretty much warm all round, with the occasional cool day like today and tomorrow, but then back up in the 60′s again for the weekend. I have only lived here for a year, so not sure if this is normal or not. I have not had to use my heat yet here, which feels weird since it’s January. I have even had to use my A/C a few days in December.

What is a good Title for…?

I am writing my own novel. I will try to publish it…I’m not an expert writer/author but I’d have to say…it’s pretty good! My friends think even more of it too! It is about a girl moving along with her father and step-mom. They are going to live in South Carolina. Ally is not happy with this…she loves the cold. But when she arrives at the S.C. Airport…she sees HIM….But he is leaving…dressed in black…and hiding basically. La La La…she goes o visit mom in Alaska….there he is….bla bla bla…They fall in love…oh my god he is a vampire…she doesn’t care she still loves him….bla bla bla….Yeah. You get it. What would be a good title for it? I like ‘Thirst for Love’ or ‘The Thirst for Love’ but….my friend is writing a novel and hers is called ‘The Perfect Thirst for Love’ So Darn. Please Help! The Best Title will get a discount on the book when it comes out! (This is not a bribe its just urgency.)
Thank You. I like ‘Him’ and the idea of something that she says to him.
TO EVERYONE ELSE-
(sorry im sorta grumpy today)
I GET IDEAS FROM STEPHENIE NOT THE WHOLE BOOK!
Twilight Rip-off???!!!
Jeez…I just want your opinion for a Title! Not sarcasm!
Yes, I love Twilight…And I’ve always wanted to write a book about vampires. Stephenie Meyer just inspired me. I’m sorry if it bothers you!

I know all of the other people are telling you to call it Twilight but just ignore it. I’m writing a vampire book, and they did that to me too. I like the "Him" title too. And if you want people to stop comparing it to Twilight i suggest a big twist to take it in the opposite direction that Twilight went in.
Hope it helped.
